Studio Arena Theatre Back in Action
They have to go through a certain process to get permission to do this, but if it goes through, it would be awesome. Of all the things that are dying in this city, the Studio Arena Theatre is one of the ones I would miss the most.
The main reason they are trying to still show plays at The Studio Arena Theater is they want to make sure that it stays as a theatre forever, so that when someone else buys it, they don’t go turn it into something else.
If they are able to pull it off, they will be able to hold off on paying part of their debt. The problem is that besides that, they will still have to pay about a $1 Million to get up and running. They will also have to raise money for the cost of the show, and in order to get all this money, they will need lots of donations and fund raising efforts.
One of the ways that they are trying to get money is by promoting the Studio Arena School, which will be teaching the arts to Buffalo State students and other students.
